Product Information

The Ambassador is Isabella’s all time best-selling awning and has been in their range for over 30 years. Designed to be used as a touring or seasonal awning, Isabella has used their premium Dawn fabric to remain relatively light in weight and durable in lifespan. A Isaroof Acrylic material creates a comfortable environment inside the awning by being breathable and offering a standard depth of 250cm. Ventilation is a key aspect of the Ambassador as it has mesh panels built into all three sides. The Apex front vent twinned up with side mesh windows increases airflow while giving a barrier against insects. The sides have a door at each end of the panel to give multi access when the weather turns.

There are three options when it comes to frames: a 25mm Galvanised Zinox Steel Frame with T-Rex locking clamps; the second is a 26mm CarbonX frame which is reinforced with Fibreglass and uses the IsaFix locking clamps. Both of these frames are perfect for touring or seasonal use, but the CarbonX will be about a 1/3 of the weight of steel without losing any sturdiness. The third option is a 32mm MegaFrame with welded corners and MegaFix dual wingnuts, it would only be recommended for seasonal use as it is a bit heavier. Additional roof rafter poles are supplied as Isabella see fit and they always give you as many as you need (even for a season pitch). (Please see the product images for an explanatory diagram).

The Ambassador has lots of touches which are designed to increase the lifespan of the awning; reinforced pegging points and corners come as standard to make the awning last the test of time. The roof seams are triple folded and double stitched to keep the elements out. An internal PVC mud-skirt is easy to clean and can be overlapped with an optional carpet to provide a solid seal. All of the front & side panels can be folded down to form a veranda or be removed completely for ease of pitching. A front canopy which goes down to the ground protects from rain coming into the front of the awning and a horizontal roof pole retains stability and completely tensions the fabric.

The Ambassador is really flexible and if needed has a whole host of optional extras available to make a home away from home; some of these extras include an Annexe for storage or extra sleeping options: Full front canopy for even more rain protection or a ‘Cosy Corner’ to shelter the front door. A canopy strip on both side of the Ambassador enables you to add some smaller extensions like Door Canopy or a roof Gutter.
